first of the several cycles that influence your life is the Personal Year Cycle. In short your life can be divided into differnet epicylcles, with each epicycle representing a nine-year period. The epicycles move one by one from your birth. A different pattern emerges during each epicycle of your life.
The epicycle starts with a 1 Personal Year, progresses to the 2 Personal Year, and so on to the 9 Personal Year. Each epicycle differs from the other by the opportunities that are available for the native and what lessons he might learn during the course of the cycle.
Each Personal year has its own characterisitcs, as described below:

* The 7 Year : A year of spiritual pursuits.
* The 8 Year : A year of reward, fruits and recognition.
* The 9 Year : A year of completionand transformation.
Just as we evolve through a nine-year cycle we also experience nine-month and nine-day cycles, even though their impact is very minimal compared to the Personal Year Cycle.
The Personal Month and Personal Day Cycles proceed according to the same pattern - 1 through 9 - that the Personal Year Cycle does.
