Dasha is a predictive time-period system in Vedic astrology that divides a person’s life into a sequence of planetary cycles, each ruled by a specific Yogini. This system consists of eight Yoginis namely, Mangala, Pingala, Dhanya, Bhramari, Bhadrika, Ulka, Siddha, and Sankata, covering a total of 36 years, which then repeat in cycles.
Each Yogini is associated with a planet and carries its own influence, bringing periods of prosperity, challenges, learning, or transformation. Astrologers use Yogini Dasha to time significant life events, understand karmic trends, and offer precise predictions in areas such as career, relationships, health, and spiritual growth.
